Mrs. Goettelman
St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Junior High
Room 209
Welcome to my class! I am so excited to meet new faces, and welcome students back into my classroom. This just a little information about myself to get to know me. I love sharing stories about my life, and I look forward to hearing all about yours!
I was born in Cincinnati and have lived here all my life. I graduated from Kings High school in 2005. While there, I was an active member in National Honor Society, Student Council, Drum Major of the marching band, as well as numerous other clubs and organizations. I then moved on to the University of Dayton for my undergraduate degree. I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in Middle Childhood Education. I started my teaching career in Lebanon, OH, but came to St. Bernard-Elmwood Place in 2011. This will be my 7th year as a Titan teacher, and I'm looking forward to many more!
My family is very important to me, and I talk about them all the time. I married my husband in 2011, and instantly became a stepmother to my daughter, Jocelynne, who I like to refer to as my bonus daughter :) Jocelynne is 15 and entering her sophomore year at Milford High School, where she plays soccer. In 2013, my son Jackson was born. Jackson is 4 and loves preschool! He also plays soccer and loves building hot wheels tracks!
Some of my hobbies outside of school are baking, cooking, crafts, and hanging out with my friends. I love taking my kids to Kings Island and watching their soccer games on the weekends. I am a history nerd, and love watching historical moves and reading historical fiction.I'm always looking for recommendations!
This is just a little bit about myself, and I'm always willing to share more!
